The Process & Logistics

  • A: Most full vehicle installs take between 2 to 4 hours. We focus on precision over speed to ensure every edge is perfect and the film is seated correctly.

  • A: We offer both! You are welcome to drop your vehicle off at our dedicated garage setup, or we can bring our mobile service to you for ultimate convenience.

For mobile service, we require a clean, enclosed garage with:

    • Adequate Space: Enough room to fully open all doors and move around the vehicle comfortably.

    • Proper Lighting: Good overhead or side lighting so we can ensure every edge is perfect.

    • Environment Control: A garage protects the film from Texas wind and dust during the install, which is essential for a "Pristine" contaminant-free finish.

Note: If a suitable garage space isn't available, we recommend our shop drop-off option for the best results!

  • A: It definitely helps. While we thoroughly prep and clean the glass, a clean interior (free of pet hair and excessive dust) helps us maintain a contaminant-free environment for the cleanest possible install.

The Film & Performance (The Hitek Advantage)

  • A:

    • Carbon IR: Provides a great look and basic heat rejection without signal interference.

    • Ceramic: This is our premium Hitek film. It uses nano-ceramic technology to block up to 99% of UV rays and the maximum amount of infrared heat. It’s the ultimate defense against the San Antonio sun.

  • A: Not at all. Because we use high-quality Ceramic and Carbon films (not old-school metallic films), your electronics, GPS, and cell signals will work perfectly.

Aftercare & Warranty

  • A: Please wait 3 to 5 days before rolling your windows down. This allows the moisture to evaporate and the adhesive to fully "bite" to the glass.

  • A: Yes! This is a standard part of the curing process. These are small pockets of moisture that will disappear as the film dries and the sun hits it. This usually takes about a week, depending on the weather.

  • A: Absolutely. We stand behind our craftsmanship. All our Hitek film packages come with a Lifetime Warranty against bubbling, peeling, or fading. If there’s an issue with the film, we’ll make it right.

Legal & Safety

  • A: In Texas, the front two windows must allow at least 25% light transmission. For the rear and back glass, you can go as dark as you'd like (5% "Limo" tint is popular here). We’ll make sure your car looks great while staying within legal limits.

  • A: Yes. Most SUVs and Trucks come with stained glass in the back, which provides privacy but very little heat protection. Adding our Ceramic film over it will give you the heat rejection you need.
